The “Free Stuff to do” search is beginning in earnest. So far I have found a creative writing reading from a selection of MA students and an evening with Stanley Barkan, who is a poet. Heady stuff indeed, but they both contain the key ingredient of Free Wine. I’m sure we will go anywhere and listen to anything, look at anything, smell anything, for a couple of glasses of plonk and a chance to get away from the television.
It also gives us the chance to shamelessly self promote ourselves to anyone who will stay within earshot. We’ll pin them down until they profess a desire to hear our music. I’ve never been one to network, but I think I should give it a go. There may be more free wine in it somewhere and maybe a buffet.
Exploits of the Frictionless Man as it wanders around the world like some kind of slippery hydra. Music, words and pictures a speciality.

Watch out for the sausage rolls. They aren't to be trusted at any of these 'free buffets'.
Walls have ears, remember? That's got to be reason enough not to eat their sausages.
